Thankful Thursday

Whew!  I made it!  What a whirlwind of activity it has been around here the past several days.  A trip South was a great time with new sights, sounds, and people.  The return on Tuesday didn't go as planned.  Scheduled to arrive back at the Farmette in the afternoon, we ended up home close to 11pm.  A severe wreck on the interstate, involving a semi-truck and several motorists, resulted in multiple fatalities and a shut down of 4 hours.  People sat out in lawn chairs, talked, and walked the road.  One gentleman even napped on the side of the road.  

Thankful today for only being inconvenienced.  Thankful for life and safe travels.
