Hello all,
I hope everyone’s doing well! I have been super duper busy with work lately, which does not give me much room to write reviews leisurely. Anyway, I decided to take some time off from work to review some amazing products that I’ve been using over the past few days. So, today I am reviewing a nail vernis from Lancome that I picked up as part of my Sephora haul.

My Experience with Lancome Hotel Particulier Vernis In Love Nail Polish:
The packaging is quite simple and classy. There is a fancy element missing in it that should classify this from the normal drugstore brands apart from the slightly bulkier glass bottle. The bottle came in a silver carton which I haven’t retained. The bottle has a black rectangular cap and a nice flat brush. The brush is amazing and spreads out very nicely on my nails to give nice, clean strokes.
“Hotel Particulier” is a pretty brownish-purple kind of taupe color with lots of beautiful silver shimmer in it. There is also a mix of chunky gold sequins which is the USP of this polish I feel. They all add to the beauty of the nail color, more like team work! It is almost opaque in a single, thick coat which is super amazing! I’ve been wearing this lot lately and enjoying every bit of it. It really flatters my skin tone too. Honestly, I have never seen anything like this before!
It is quite pricey for a nail paint, but if you’re willing to splurge a little, then it is worth it. Personally, I have always wanted to own a set of designer/high-end makeup and fashion stuff at some point of my life and maybe I am getting there Okay, so the wear time of this vernis is easily around 4 days without chipping or even fading, which I think I cannot achieve with a drugstore one.
It is my thing that nail paints chip off the next day that I wear, for reasons not known whatsoever, so the staying power is a huge plus for me. On my right hand, the lasting power is a bit less for obvious reasons. In the NOTD, the nail paint is a week old and there was a chip or two which I touched up. I am honestly impressed with this nail varnish and no regrets on splurging!
