I can't imagine the horror of chipping a shoe you have spent over €500 on. So I guess this is the answer really! I get sick of sending shoes away to be repaired (I'm not lucky enough to own Louboutins) but I do own shoes with gold/yellow/blue soles on them and I know how annoying it is when they chip and you can't repair them.
