America Ferrera and Gina Rodriguez were mistaken for each other on Thursday morning.
When tweeting about America's appearance at the Golden Globes nominations announcement at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the Hollywood Foreign Press tweeted she was Gina.

The HFP account did this not once, but twice.
Ferrera joined actors Angela Bassett, Chloe Grace Moretz and Dennis Quaid to announce the nominees for the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards, which will take place in January.

Ferrera was the first announcer to take the stage at 5:15 a.m. PT. She looked nicely put together in a black and gold dress with her hair pulled back.

The Golden Globes' Twitter account shared a photo of her at the podium and misidentified her.

The tweets were quickly deleted, but not before a number of Twitter users called the organization out for confusing Ferrera and Rodriguez.
America won the 2007 Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Comedy or Musical for her starring role in ABC's Ugly Betty.
Rodriguez was the first actress on The CW to win a Golden Globe for her starring role in Jane the Virgin.
